We have a Diploma programme relevant for dentists and another suited to hygienists/therapists. We offer a 1-year in-person programme for dentists. For hygienists/therapists there is the option of the 1-year in-person programme or 6-month online version which has 3 consecutive hands-on days.

If you go for the in-person 1 year option, the training takes place once a month on a Monday. Dates are provided a year in advance to help you plan around work and personal commitments.

The course is comprehensive and highly rewarding. You’ll be supported throughout by experienced mentors and a like-minded peer group.

Time management is key. Most of our students are working professionals, and the structure of the course is designed to be flexible and manageable alongside your existing commitments. It is not meant to be stressful.

The course is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge to confidently perform periodontal treatment to an advanced standard. Therefore, you will have to manage your diary to keep up with the deadlines and individual assignments to successfully complete your course. However, all the deadlines will be given to you in advance, and we will support you throughout your entire journey with us. We would suggest dedicating 2 hours a week for study.

Yes. We are proud to offer our Diploma in Periodontics to hygienists/therapists/oral hygiene therapists across the world. We offer the 3 days hands-on component in either London or Sydney.

Yes, lunch is provided at a local restaurant during the in-person sessions as well as a selection of hot and cold refreshments throughout the day.

Yes, you will get various support between sessions/classes. You will be added to a WhatsApp group where you can ask questions regarding the course or clinical cases you have. Also, you can request meetings with the Education Director if needed.

If you are doing the 1-year in-person programme there will be a large practical component with demonstrations on patients. For the online programme there will be videos available. You will then be expected to implement on your patients and keep a reflective logbook.

If you are a hygienist/therapist you will need to complete a reflective logbook, 50-question MCQ and a case presentation.

If you are on the in-person 1-year programme the case will be written-up and a viva performed with Dr Reena. If you are on the 6-month online programme, you’ll have a Zoom where you’ll present your case then have questions asked on this.

You are required to complete 4 entries per month as shown in the example provided. You’re welcome to submit additional entries if you wish.

The final submission will be a few weeks before you finish your course, but the Education Director will ask you to submit your logbook at regular periods throughout the course as well.

All sessions are compulsory with a minimum attendance requirement but if there are unforeseen circumstances we will work with you to help you catch up.

Yes, you will gain 100 hours of CPD on completing the Diploma.
