ABOUT DR REENA WADIA

SPECIALIST PERIODONTIST AND FOUNDER OF PERIO SCHOOL
Dr Reena Wadia is the Principal Periodontist and Founder of RW Perio, a leading Harley Street clinic, and the Founder of Perio School, a global teaching academy for periodontal education, teaching dental students, dentists, and hygienists for over 10 years.
Having qualified from Barts and The London with the prestigious Gold Medal with notable undergraduate dental awards, and following general practice, Dr Reena was appointed as a Senior House Officer in both Restorative Dentistry and Oral Surgery. She completed the part-time specialty training programme in Periodontology at Guy’s Hospital and was previously an associate specialist at King’s College Hospital.
Dr Reena is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, an Expert Advisor to the BDA Indemnity Board, Co-Editor for the 'Other Journals in Brief' section of the British Dental Journal, and a Trustee of the Oral & Dental Research Trust.
Her internationally bestselling book The Perio Handbook launched in 2024, followed by a new monthly show focusing on first-hand dental industry insights called The Perio School Podcast in 2025. Widely featured in the media, Dr Reena’s expert commentary has appeared in Vogue, The Times, Harper’s Bazaar, Tatler, and Forbes, further cementing her role as a leading voice in modern dentistry.
